Ejiogbe Voices is a cultural technology initiative from Ejiogbe Institute. We work with elders, spiritual leaders, and community knowledge-keepers to record, translate, and share oral wisdom across generations. Using advanced AI voice tools and traditional ethics, we make authentic guidance accessible to the diaspora — in your language, on your schedule.
Vision:
To create a living digital archive where the voices of elders and cultural knowledge-keepers can be heard, understood, and celebrated across generations — preserving endangered traditions and inspiring cultural pride worldwide.
Mission:
Ejiogbe Voices bridges ancient oral traditions with modern technology to safeguard wisdom that might otherwise be lost. We collaborate with elders to record their teachings, prayers, and guidance; preserve them through translation and cultural context; and share them through an accessible, multilingual digital platform. In doing so, we protect heritage, support elder livelihoods, and reconnect communities to their cultural roots, wherever they live.
Market Potential & Reach
African Traditional Religions and their diasporic expressions (Ifá, Vodun, Santería, Candomblé, Palo, Haitian Vodou, etc.) are practiced by over 100 million people globally, spanning West and Central Africa, the Caribbean, Brazil, the United States, and Europe. In addition, there are millions more in the diaspora seeking to reconnect with ancestral heritage or learn the spiritual languages and rituals of their lineage.
Ejiogbe Institute already reaches an international audience across North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa, and my artwork — rooted in these traditions — has been copied, adopted, and circulated worldwide by festivals, educators, artists, and content creators, proving both the demand and cultural impact of my work.
Ejiogbe Voices directly addresses the urgent need to preserve and transmit endangered cultural knowledge. Within its first three years, the platform will:
Breaks down language barriers so communities and researchers worldwide can hear and understand wisdom in its original voice and meaning.
Goes beyond literal translation to preserve the symbolism, history, and nuance that give traditions their true depth.
Delivers timely blessings, teachings, and guidance in sync with cultural calendars, keeping traditions alive in the daily lives of listeners.
Creates a permanent, accessible record for students, educators, and cultural practitioners to learn from and build upon for generations.
Protects the rights and dignity of knowledge-keepers while ensuring their voices are heard and honored in ways they approve.
